The writing of code is no longer the bottleneck in software development since LLMs can now generate implementations faster than humans, which means unknown contributors' pull requests create more friction than value through review cycles, style mismatches, and security risks. Given that maintainers are now constrained by understanding existing code, designing solutions, and reviewing output rather than typing, contributors create more value by providing detailed bug reports, design discussions, reference prompts for LLMs, or simply forking and maintaining their own versions rather than submitting code for merge.

Building a multiplayer browser cannot achieve product-market fit through technical sophistication alone when users cannot articulate what specific workflow it improves. Given that Chrome and Slack already solve their respective problems adequately, the combined friction of existing tools was never painful enough to justify switching to a product that lacked a clear, legible use case.
